Education and empowerment
Our Oncology Nurse Navigator program puts you at the center of your care team by encouraging you to not only be involved but guide your treatment, support and survivorship decisions. We offer regular classes/programs on a variety of cancer topics, links to additional outside resources for all referral needs, individual consultations and guidance to give you the information you need to make the best-informed decisions about your care.
A network of support and hope
We understand that staying connected with others helps improve quality of life and restores hope. We offer patient-to-patient networking to help you connect with others who are in similar situations. Our goal is to provide you with sources of inspiration, encouragement and hope. Along with our team of committed Nurse Navigators, our on-line iThrive program reaches out every day to cancer survivors helping them stay happy and healthy. More and more, cancer patients are looking for ways to achieve victory over their disease without compromising their quality of life; here at Mission Hope we continue to challenge ourselves seeking new innovative ways to meet all our patients’ evolving needs and goals.

Accredited as a Community Cancer Program by the American College of Surgeons’ Commission on Cancer. We embrace a multidisciplinary approach to patient care and offer the latest in technology – true beam linear accelerator that delivers IMRT and IGRT, lab, pharmacy, PET/CT & CT scanners, digital mammography, breast ultrasounds and stereotactic biopsy equipment. We believe the Central Coast community deserves the best cancer care and state-of-the-art technology available today. Currently, cancer services in the area—such as radiation, chemotherapy, surgery, and others—are fragmented. Patients and their families have to travel all over Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo Counties in order to receive basic treatment. We understand for cancer patients, frequent travel can be incredibly difficult, both physically and mentally, as well as a financial challenge for families.
